Security...

To any of you out there that can help

I since moved after buying my 08 Street Glide and never programmed my security system/key fobs. Does anyone have the sequence that is needed to set the password and key fobs...

Please let me know...

First off, welcome aboard... Please take a moment to post an intro in the NEW MEMBERS SECTION....

As far as your Security System set-up, you will need to go to the dealership, as it MUST be done through the Digital Technician computer system..... This is only for the HFSM (Hands Free Security Module)... if you had an 06 system, you could do it manually....

If your system was factory installed the password procedure is in the Owners Manual. There is also two (2) tear-out cards you can carry with you so you can record the password you programed in the bikeon the card if you leave the FOB somewhere and forget to bring it with you. This will enable you to start the bike without the FOB. Remember if you don't recover the FOB and shut the bike down again you have to go through the procedure again (a real pain in the butt).
Password on the '08s is not programed with the Digital Tech, only the inital setup of the FOBs is at installation of Sec. Sys.
The default password at installation is in the Owners Manual.
