I used the heel toe shifter all the time on my Venture but find the HD heel toe too close togeather and positioned wrong to use. So I've considered taking it off also.
Just like BadPiggy a lot of people don't know how to use a heel shifter because of the lack of riding skill and proper coordination....that's why some don't have the first clue on how to use one or care if it's not there.....blue goo as someone else said could save you a bit next time....hope all works out and i hope you live close enough to BadPiggy to go over to his place to show him how to use one.....it's the least a real rider can do to a former vespa rider.....

has no lack of riding skill and proper coordination.
Please, let us in on your secrets and teach us
how to ride our bikes [8D]
Only last week I figured out how to use the shifter
so I must be getting there, but I'll keep an open mind
for your suggestions.
Thank you so much for sharing

Just like your confusion understanding the simple use of a heel shifter...it seems to also extend to the comprehension of words.......i fail to see where envy has anything to do with my response....and cutie-pie??...... you must have me confused with the person who bought your Vespa......this is fun.......
