Spent most of my life on bikes without so i enjoy mine now. I did drop the toe shifter a few notches and they are even across now. I only use 1/2 the floorboard anyway even with the extenders so its not in the way for me.

Morale of the story is areminder to check the tightness on the heel shifter if you want it to remain on your bike. If you wantto become road debry and itfalls off for you, wellthats ok too........

Took the heel lever off, but after moving the floorboards forward and spacing them out 1", I put it back on and now wouldn't be without it. Makes shifting andfinding neutral easier and doesn't wear on the top of the boot. I even once had a Vespa.

I recently took mine off and put the $13 cap in its place. I would highly recommend that everyone does that, it really give you a lot more room on the foot board.

I have 10k and just had dealer replace my second shifter( that's 3 including the original). Put blue locktight on the first one three times and the dealer put it on again on the new one just a week ago. I personnally had the dealer let me pick out the shifter that had the best spline on it, this time. HELLOOOOOOOO HD, are you listening to this! $#$#^%^ Taiwan Crap!!! And no, I like using my heel shifter and won't take it off, the bike does it itself.
