Default 2007 Classis Electraglide no oil pressure

Was wondering if anyone has heard anything aobut 2007 Classic Electraglides with bad oil pumps. I have 2500 miles on my 2007 and went for a ride th other dayand the engine started making aloud noise and I looked down and had no oil pressure. I shut it down and coasted off the road and called the Harley Dealer. It also had some oil leaking around the head too.Dealer is checkin it out.Anyone got a clue? I have 2 months left on my warranty so they are fixing it. I am a little worried though that it might of sheared something and they won't fix it right. 23,000.00 for my harley, are there maybe recalls? Oh, the dealer installed the kit for 103 inch 1000 miles ago. Same dealer it is at right now.

Did it happen soon after you rode the **** out of it? You probably have shifted flywheels, the pinion end will have a bunch of runout and it pulls the oil pump away from the cam plate breaking suction with the loss of oil pressure as the result! Excessive runout can cause the cases to be damged due to the main bearings being walked around the bearing bore by the flywheels also!

No it did not happen after I ran the **** out of it. The harley dealer called today and it is a bent crankshaft. Harley had some bad ones out there. I only have 2500 miles on it. Have never ran the **** out of it. Harley wants pictures and dial indicator read outs sent to them from the dealer, then the dealer will get parts sent from harley, maybe a new motor.Do you know of anyone else having this happen to an 07 with 2500 miles on it?

The flywheels are not bent but shifted or scissored as the new crowd calls it. Mine had just under 8000 and the runout was .059". If yours is over .010" push for a NEW MOTOR not a rebuild, the bearings get walked around and loosen the press fit in the cases.
