I just purchased a clearview 6 1/2" dark grey windshield with the recurve. This windshield was to replace the stock 4" on my street glide. I have only ridden about 80 miles with it so far, but what I can say is "that it definitely helped with the buffeting". I am 6' tall with a 33"-34" inseam and I now have to sit way up above the windshield to feel the same amount of buffeting that I had with the stock windshield. This weekend will be the real test as we have about 1000k ride planned for Sat. Sun and Mon. A good bit of interstate riding plus some nice backroads...should make for a good test.
BTW it does take away a little bit from the aggressive look of the SG.

we'll be watching the classifieds when you get back.
I called them at the beginning of last week cause I had a ride this weekend. I noticed that the wait was 4 to 5 weeks but when I talked to them they said they had some blemished ones in the factory, so they called back and said they had one with hardly noticeable scratches at the bottom. Gave me another $20 off and shipped out that day!
I looked at it two days later when it got here and couldn't find anything wrong, what a great bunch of guys and fantastic customer service.
Put it on and cut the buffeting almost entirely while still retaining pretty much the stock look, I'm 6'.
I always joke with my buddies thatI never met anyone who rides less than I do. "Tongue firmly planted in cheek" I guess if I do a million miles this weekend that is going to be tough for anyone to beat. If I say we did 800 miles this weekend the person I am talking to is "oh we did 1100 miles this weekend". Yet when I look at the classifieds seldom toI see bikes that have any real miles on them.
Sorry for the rant.
BTW didI mention that I got a new windshield for my bike and I really like it so far.
