I have ordered air cleaner, slip-ons and am buying the SERT. My question is, to avoid dealer labor charges, I want to install the slip-ons and a/c then take it to the dealer for the SERT and dyno. Wil it run OK to do this? I only live about a 1/2 mile from the dealer so I could install the a/c right before I take it in and only have to ride it that far.
I know I can just install the slip-ons and ride it but will I do damage running it with the a/c on it for a 1/2 mile? The dealer wants $90 to install the a/c.
I ran my Fat Boy with Big Radius True Duals for 500 miles and all was fine with no fuel management. I installed the Fuel Pak just as a back up. It ran like crap. I took it out and ran for 5000 with no fuel management. Traded it in for my SG.
