OK there is a small amount of oil that just appeared , it is coming from the left side from the bottom of the big case thing that is on that side, hey im not a mechanic
Shouldli be horribly concerned? Is something just loose? or mayeb a bad seal?
the bike had its 20k service done on the third of this month and all fluids were inspected and changed.
give me the non mechanic guy some helpful info before i go take it in.
it is very small amount leaking but i amnot sure how much is in there to begin with
ummmm.....
Sounds like you have a leak from the primary cover, or the derby cover. Since you sound like you don't know a spanner from a wrench, take it back to the mechanic. It's no big deal.
The BIG cover on the left is your Primary cover. The round cover to the rear of the BIG cover is the Derby cover.
If the leak is only a drop or two when you ride it, no real biggy. If it leaks more than
a few drops whether you ride it or not......not a real biggy.
If you just had it serviced, stop by the mechanic and show concern.
He will probably just 're-torque' the fasteners.
