I'm rebuilding a FLHR that was rear ended. I'm turning it into a classic and was going to put a V logo rear fender rail on it. Now that I have the new fender on the bike I'm thinking that it doesn't look good with this rear rail and the classic fender tip. Looks OK on the front fender but not the back.
What do you think? Anyone have one of those brackets that fit under the fender (91140-04) that they want to get rid of, ties the fender and back supports together?
Thanks for the replies. It does look better with the nostalgic saddlebag guards. I ordered the bracket so I could remove the V logo fender rail but I'm still undecided.
The rear of your bike will really look much better once you also get the nostalgic saddlebag rails installed. I did my front, rear and saddlebag rails one at a time and the bike just didn't look right (in my eye) until all three were installed. I guarantee all three will look great on your bike.

I have a brand new - still in package 91140-04 bracket - I paid Zanotti $27 + $13 for shipping - I'll take $27 shipped to you.
I know I see you have ordered one - thought i would try anyway.
