there are 2 wires under the tank that send current to the horn when you push the button.
Make sure...test light...that you are getting a signal.
Check your fuses also. I cant remember offhand if the horn is on a seperate fuse.
You may need a service manual with a wiring diagram to acurately trace the wires is the previous owner did the old cut, cut, cut...that shoudl work trick.
