Still having problems. \\; I have had more guys try \\;to install these then Nasa has to launch the space shuttle. \\; Spoke to RJ several times. \\; Do you have picks with the seat off? \\; A PIC over top of the bike looking down to where the shields lay under the seat.
I have an '06 EGC and the instructions said it will be a tight fit under the plastic cable trays if they are cable tied down. \\; It only took an extra second to also remove the rear tank bolt and lift it to make things easier.
Kevin, Im presently looking up others that are in your area thru Google Earth that will be able to assist you in your installation. I did my 1st installation on an 08 Ultra that was here. The road glide should not be different. But I didnt have one here to make sure. Maybe this is why the big Corps dont get involved with customer relations. But unlike them. I dont employ foreign manufacturers,... and I leave a help line open even on weekends and holidays.
Ok, but my patients are wearing thin. \\;\\\\\\; It just shouldn't be this hard. \\;\\\\\\; I tried pushing them way up under the tank like we spoke about but it didn't look right and held the tank up about an inch. \\;\\\\\\; Not acceptable. \\;\\\\\\; To me anyway. \\;\\\\\\; BTW, my bike is a Street Glide in case that matters........

I get my bike back this weekend from the wheel shop and will post pictures of the RJ's on the StreetGlide.

I got the Kuryakins (sp) \\; on my 2008 Road Glide and the xied's. Runs cooler and the shieds were really easy to install. IMO they look better than the HD product. Cheap way to lower the temp on you and the bike.
The SG should not be that much different from the 08 Ultra. \\; The shields do not go way up under the tank, the brass eyelets should still be visible under the plastic wiring tray cover. \\; My tray cover was not cable tied down, so getting the shields under it was not difficult. \\; The biggest problem I had was on the left side. \\; The left shield as delivered is bent way wrong. \\; When I had it in place at first the rear most piece of velcro was bowed out more than an inch from the frame rail. \\; I finally got frustrated and just put the seat on to see what would happen, low and behold the seat bent the left shield into place and it fits great now. \\; I agree some pictures from the top with the seat off would be a big help in figuring out how to mount them.
