2008 Street Glide....I consider myself above average in the mechanically inclined category but I can't seem to figure these damn things out. Anyone else have a problem with their 2008 touring model installing these? No mater how I position either side they just won't fit correctly. Can't even come close with the double sided tape meeting the frame. Either I have the wrong ones (they are marked 2008 touring) or I'm dumber then I think I am......(I know, I left the door open with that one).
i had the same problem, you need to raise the back of the ags tank up about 11/64ths and it should then fit with no problem and your seat will go back on
