You are redonkulous. This is a dyno post not a top speed post. If you want to discuss top speed start a top speed post. When a guy posts video evidence of 120 mph and YOU continue to doubt him it pisses me off. You sound like some immature chick who can never be proven wrong. like I said before you will be lonely in your post since again I do not personally know one single soul that goes out and purchases a Harley Davidson in order to drive it 120-130 mph. Most of my riding friends like to watch their reflection in windows lol.
When I was in the crotch rocket scene it was all about top speed. When I had an offshore race boat it was all about top speed and "GPS" proof. Hell guys would leave their GPS on and tow their boat 100 mph because they were so proud of the mph. Then I grew up.
The point is Harleys are not wind tunnel high speed Moto GP Laguna Seca machines. They are instruments of stress release and the ultimate american sense of freedom. We post dyno numbers to show how much torque and power our bikes make and some guys even take theirs to the drag strip. Your wide open 130 mph notion for long periods of time that you imply you ride is nonsense. until you show me video of a trip from the rockies to the Grand Tetons at 120 to 130 mph, I will doubt that you ever do anymore than kiss 130 for for a millisecond then slow to a comfortable 80 mph.
As for swearing you can go @#$k yourself. Did you feel that in your, "stones", hahahahaha!
J/K about the the go f yourself I'm not that much of an a hole but i couldn't resist you opened yourself up to it.
As I said, someone clearly missed a therapy appt. I never brought up the subject about top speed until there were many posts raising the issue. I've posted here many times with various dyno charts since I've done a fair amount of tuning (as a hobby) over the past decade.
The guy posted a video of his speedo which was cool but since HD speedo's are notoriously off by 4-5mph when you get into higher speeds, the only real way to know your top speed is with a GPS. On multiple Harley's I've run, the speedo was significantly off when compared with my GPS once you get into triple digit speeds.
My suggestion is to head back to your favorite tatoo parlor and try not to step on that string hanging down your leg on the way. har har har
There hasn't been a post about top speed for weeks until you felt the need to bring the subject back up, so how about we get back to dyno charts?
A dyno sheet with speed on it. Now we can discuss top speed and stay on topic. Thanks coolerman.
A dyno with speed measured on it tells the owner nothing. Unless that dyno has superfans on it that can replicate a 120mph wind head-on into the bike, that top speed would only be relevant if you could ride the bike in a vacumn.
Remember, wind resistance is exponential and once you're over 50mph, you'll need exponentially more hp for each additional mph to push through even greater wind resistance. That's why mph on a dyno graph are completely irrelevant at anything other than very low speeds.

Great here We go again another 3 pages to look at thats a waste of time!!!!!!!
Really guys? Really? Maybe we can start a new thread discussing top speed and hp as it relates to top speed, I'll subscribe there, but let's leave this one to dyno runs and mods eh?
