injector info
They told me that the dealer rep was in and that he would have to test ride my bike for them to replace the injectors. I ok, fine, when does he want it!!! As soon as some of the salt gets off of the road it will be at the dealers for this guy to take it for a ride. I also told him that he can listen to a CD in the CD player as it skips and they can take care of that too. I told them one way or another the injectors will be replaced. The only question is who gets to pay for them.

Renegade, that sucks! Those reps are worthless. I had a rep out 2x to look at my first SG, What a waste of time. Their favorite answer is, "it's within tolerance and considered normal."
I called Harley custmer service again today. This time I asked them why some bikes run OK with stock injectors and others don't. They didn't know! The good news is that they said it would be no problem getting my injectors updated. I even told them that I had mods with a SERT and Dyno tune. They said no problem but I would have to get the bike re-tuned at my expense.
So, don't take that BS from that dealer. If he hassles you just take your business to another dealer. That's what I would do!

Hey guy's, don't get mad, get even! When you get those rides runnin' right, don't look back. Catch my drift?
nogood o~`o
I think that it is pretty good that they are going to be putting th new injectors on all bike after XX date, but yet they can not up-date the other 06's that are alreay out there on the road.

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
I have a 2006 ULTRA, manufacture date Jan 2006, it has the 8* injectors (part #27625-06). I put about 300 miles on it as stock as I was waiting for the dealer to do the 95" big bore. I could not really tell if it was running correctly (all the EPA crap [:@]). It did run very hot, died in stop & go traffic, & had some hesitation, again I was not too concerned because I knew the engine mods were coming & was sure it would run much better. After the work was done the service manager was not happy with the way it performed. He asked me to ride it for awhile & see what I thought. It still had some hesitation, & some burping on deceleration. He asked me to bring it back at my conveince
& he would personally dyno it after he got off work. This was completed Feb 16, before the bulletin came out.The bike ran better after the dyno but it still has some hesitation, sometimes takes several times to start on a cold start & some burping on decelartion. This past Tuesday I saw the service manager & he asked if I was still having problems/issues. I told him yes & asked if he knew about the service bulletin, M-1185. He did not but went right to his computer & looked it up. After reading it he placed a phone call & ordered me a set of CVO injectors (#27709-06A).
Hopefully this will correct things.95" big bore, 1550 flat top pistons, 204 cams, stock heads, SE A/C, race fueler, V&H true dual headers, V&H ovals. Dyno numbers are: max hp = 70.02 max tq 83.11. This seems a bit lame to me. I was told this is from the rear wheel & that some published numbers (such as in the H-D Screaming Eagle PRO Racing parts catalog) are measured differently
