Took my 06 Ultrato the dealer to try and find the cause of my tip in hesitation. The mechanic told me i have the old style injectors whichare 0 degree injectors. He said there was a bulletin out to replace them to a 25 degree injector and a performance reprogram. This is supposed to increase the horsepower and fuel economy and most importantly eliminate the tip in hesitation. I'm looking forward to the correction. Anyone have this done? I was wondering if the injectors need to be replaced because of a defect do they cover this under warranty. I was told this would be approx 350.00. Any comments fire away.

Had mine done right afer I bought the bike it had the hesitaion at slow speeds. It made a big diference. Should be covered since the bullitan has been out for 2 years now. But your warantee is up I bet that could make a difference. I thought they were fixing all of them that had trouble. God luck do a search on injectors a bunch of info. Tom

My 06 already had the 25 degree injectors in it when I bought it and it runs excellent. I'd say you will probably be happy with them. I'm not a fast rider and am EASY on the throtle. My bike averages in the high 40's in town and 50-51 MPG on the road.

Thanks,,,, was hoping to get some positive feedback. I'm hoping Harley will extend some customer goodwill on the injectors and i will pay 185.00 for the reprogram. I asked about extending the warranty they are suposed to let me know. I bought the bike used and the warranty expired the same day. It's out by 3 weeks out. Go figure. Is Harley Davidson pretty good on customer satisfaction? Anyone think they will let me extend the warranty?
