I bought an 08 Road Glide excited about the HK Radio and being able to add options. I put the XM right away with the intention that I would use a headset on windy trips. I got a quote of $1000. I dont want intercom and dont intend to add tour pak and speakers either. All I want is to use that $129 harness and Adda 08 ultra dash and connect auxilary sound to the 7pin dash outlet.
HD tech advice is slim to none at the dealer. I will never believe I need to spend a $1000 to get an auxilary output to that dash.
Anyone know if Harley has harness or is it already in the bike and all I need is the dash. Speaker switches are in the dash and I understand that they must control radio out put through that wiring harness that has the intercom outlet.
So my question, if I right, what canI purchase that is plug and play to get to that dash from the radio?
Oh also I left my mothers apron strings over 45 years ago so I don't need any safety advise about riding with headsets :-)
