i have an 02 efi ultra with 2 holes for fittings on the unerside of the tank but one is blocked off, I bough a new tank off of a 05 (efi?)but thefitting frommy old tank will not fit (to small). Is this just an issue of getting a new fitting? does anyone know the part #.
btw I spoke with my local dealer and the gave me 0 help, said 99-08 all had the same fittings which can't be right since in o2 they went from a 2 line system to a 1 line.I would assume my bike is an odd ball because it has the two line tank but the one line system.
Well I gotta tell ya.....The tank you bought I believe will only work with the newer style fuel pump assembly, however you stated that you have a one line system....I think that you can buy the fuel line off the 05' model and go woth it, BUT .... I cant help with a part number right now either until I look in the harley books tommorrow. When I get to work tommorrow if you would like to PM me about it or call me, either way I am just curious myself and I wil look .
GOOD LUCK!

Thanks,
I think mine is a crossover model I have a block off for the second hole in the tank and everything that I read harley changed over to the new style efi in o2
I did confirm that the tank I bought was off an EFI so I just need to get the tank fitting (if anyone knows a good place to order on from let me know) I cant imagine it could cost too much right?
