biketronics wiring
Anybody have to do any special wiring for biketronics install? I'm doing a R/Glide conversion and want radio auto volume. I think all I need is the speed control signal but not sure. B/tronics was supposed to fax me some info but haven't gotten it yet. Just want to know if anybody did what I need to before I order the radio..

If you buy a headunit that is compatible with the Biketronics interface unit (there is a list of them on Biketronics' website), you will have auto volume control feature--the white w/green stripe wire in your big harness that used to plug into the back of your HD headunit but will now plug into one side of the Biketronics interface unit carries the speed signal so the radio knows when you are stopped, going slow, etc.
The only wiring is to speakers, power and ground.

Thanks, I like easy. Tomorrow I'll order the radio kit and start looking for a painter. Leaving (flying from Seattle to CT) on Wed. to visit family, should be done with project by end of June.
