Default Swing Arm upgrades

Does anyone know if there is any different between the 2007 swing arm and 2008, I know that the axle is in metric now, any other changes, I have one and want to install it on my 2000 RKC with Sta bo bushing kit.

the rear brake ad (for the brake) is different I believe. I do not have a 08 swingarm so I can not say for ure but the guys who have changed their <07 over to rear brembos say they have to do a modification. Ask someone who has actually done it @ I have not, sorry I can not help you more.

Howard, thanx for the reply,&nbsp\\; I did call Sta-bo today and was told I can use the 08 swing arm with the III kit from them.&nbsp\\; probably have to machine the 08 nine spoke wheel to be able to fit my belt pulley off the 2000 RKC.&nbsp\\; I wonder what I would have to do to the output drive to run the Isolator drive that is already on the 08 wheel.&nbsp\\; I know I would need a narrower belt.

I do not think you should be machining wheels.&nbsp\\; I think the IDS is direct bolt up to the wheel.&nbsp\\; There is no difference in the way your 02 wheels are from the 08's. Again do not buy extra add on until you check it out for yur self.&nbsp\\; I was doing a project with Mike from Lattis Hd on a 08 RK / Jims 131 CI &amp\\; my 16" C/F wheels.&nbsp\\; There is no differrence in the wheels (outside wise) 00 ~ 08.&nbsp\\; Check out the proceedure HERE to R&amp\\;R your swingarm&nbsp\\; anything I can do to help, call.&nbsp\\; Hope this helps

I meant the output drive pulley on the transmission,&nbsp\\; the 08 is a 6 speed and my 00 is a 5 speed,&nbsp\\; will the pulley off the six speed work on the 5 speed and still have the alignment to the IDS pulley?

I posted some photos earlier this week on a rear trans pulley change I did.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; There should be no problem but I did not do it to see if there is problems.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Your trans pulley is full width, no different on 5/6 speed I think, again, I did not do it.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I have a 6 speed and you would need to go with a 137T 1" belt.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Yes, I did do that.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; The IDS is a direct bolt on.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I see no problems but I DID NOT DO IT so check it out for yourself.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; God luck

Well I checked on the hub pulley,&nbsp\\; the trans pulley is a 32 tooth for the 2000 and 2008, but the part number is different.&nbsp\\; So your thinking that I could change out the belt to 1 in. and put the 08 tire and IDS along with the 08 swing arm and I should be ok.&nbsp\\;
