This could get really ugly really quick, although the pictures were very grafic, and im not sure this was the proper place for them I dont feel any lines were crossed either. The fact that this was a black man has nothing to do with it. It could have just has easily been a white guy or any other race for that matter, The fact is that this guy was running from the police because of a crime he had committed. You say you hate cops, just think about for one second what this world would be like without them, I sure as He!! wouldnt want to be here if there was no police force. I dont see how just because the man in the pictues was black that this became a race issue? The guy committed a crime and wasnt man enough to pay for what he did, so he chose to run like a big baby, and this is what happened, No racism, no black or white, just simply a criminal that paid the price. Tell me this if this were a whit guy, would you be so upset?

I enjoy reading all the resumes about the many years you guys/gals played in law enforcement.

Listing your years or service now makes you an expert on carrying a weapon into a bar? Pleeese! No ones cares how many years you've collected a paycheck....just answer the post w/o trying to prop your qualifications as a PO. 10-4?

I think they have police officers sites where you can drown the others with your facts and opinions on crime and weapon carrying. Alcohol and guns don't mix! How fitting!

**News Flash Donkeys** How about a little common sense? If your dumb enough to expose your ineptness in a bar with a weapon, then allow the courts to serve the justice. Some folks learn lessons the hard way. How many of us have taken a weapon into a bar w/o any negative results? That's what I thought. How many dudes are in bar w/a weapon that you have no idea of? Save the lecture for another forum!

Guy just asked where to stash his tool on the bike. No need for all the righteous folks to list their LEO resumes!

Put the weapon where it best suits you! There are not a lot of options here. I like it on my person!

Actually, that's furthest from the truth.

Don,

I just don't see the point you are trying to make. Be he Black, White, Asian, or Native American, this guy was a criminal that made a bad choice and jumped to his death. He wasn't pushed or beheaded by the police. How does that compare to the Iraqi terrorist beheading of an innocent person?

The picture is very graphic, and maybe has no real place in a motorcycle forum, but I just don't see it as a race thing. Me thinks you are being a little sensitive by making this a Black issue. A criminal is a criminal no matter his color, and I have no sympathy for any of them.

Just an opinion.

Regards,

Bill

Scott,

Whoa! man. What cop pee-peed in your cheerios?

Some of these guys were trying to add a little insight into the ramifications of carrying a gun at or into a bar based on their experiences as LEO's. The info they were offering may be things that were not as obvious to some poeple as it is to others, and some of it might keep someone from getting their tail in a crack. The fact that they were basing their answers on experience gained from LEO work just lends credence to their replies.

Regards,

Bill

All right. We've covered the full gammit here. The pictures gotta go, so I'm going to pull them. Let's get back to where we store our weapons, and get off the race stuff, or we'll lock this one.

It has nothing to do with helping folks out billnourse, It's all about boasting about our resumes.

[end sarcasm]

I got tired of trying to hide my firearm of choice. Soooo, I just removed the windshield from the brackets and mounted a quick disconnect 50 CAL. BROWNING. Really looks good in parades too.

I am curious,How many riders who carry guns on there bikes have needed to use them, in a defensive situation of course. Ex-wives or hubbys don't count. ---OD
