Default Removing saddle bag guards.

I want to remove the saddle bag guards from my 07 ultra, including the guard that covers the front of the bag.&nbsp\\; I need to purchase the small replace ment piece that goes from the frame to the saddle bag support bar (make sense?).
&nbsp\\;
Harley sells the entire replace bar that supports the bag, but not the small piece only.&nbsp\\; Back in 98 I replaced this piece on my RK, but Harley says they dont just seel the small piece anymore.&nbsp\\; Does anyone know of an aftermarket company that sells this piece?
&nbsp\\;
Thanks!
&nbsp\\;
John

Check on Carlini Floater Bars.&nbsp\\; I just did the same thing but used the front guard from an 08 FLHTCUSE.&nbsp\\; Carlini's completely replace the front guard and give it that clean FLHX look...

I left them on and plugged the holes with HD chrome plugs #53830-00, you have to spread the tabs a little&nbsp\\;but they the&nbsp\\;only thing I found to fit.&nbsp\\; I'm sure you have thought of this, but you could cut the orginals and put a plug in the openning if you don't plan on ever using again.&nbsp\\; I'd be glad to send a pic if you e-mail me at gfmc@comcast.net
