I want to remove the saddle bag guards from my 07 ultra, including the guard that covers the front of the bag. \\; I need to purchase the small replace ment piece that goes from the frame to the saddle bag support bar (make sense?).
 \\;
Harley sells the entire replace bar that supports the bag, but not the small piece only. \\; Back in 98 I replaced this piece on my RK, but Harley says they dont just seel the small piece anymore. \\; Does anyone know of an aftermarket company that sells this piece?
 \\;
Thanks!

Check on Carlini Floater Bars. \\; I just did the same thing but used the front guard from an 08 FLHTCUSE. \\; Carlini's completely replace the front guard and give it that clean FLHX look...

I left them on and plugged the holes with HD chrome plugs #53830-00, you have to spread the tabs a little \\;but they the \\;only thing I found to fit. \\; I'm sure you have thought of this, but you could cut the orginals and put a plug in the openning if you don't plan on ever using again. \\; I'd be glad to send a pic if you e-mail me at gfmc@comcast.net
Harley does sell it. The part # is 46565-04 on pg 429 P&\\;\\\\\\;A catalog.

Thats the part number for the entire saddle bag support bar and the piece I need. \\; I guess they just dont offer the small attchment piece anymore...
