Default Bleeding brakes with ABS

I am just fitting the chrome master cylinder and lever on my 2008 FLHRC which has ABS. The instructions say refer to service manual for instructions on bleeding the system if you have ABS. I don't have the manual, does anyone know what the difference in procedure is please?

It has to do with the operation of the ABS controll unit to bleed them properly. I think they call for the digital tech to do them properly.

May I ask why you're attempting this without a manual?&nbsp\\; I mean - if someone here answers this, overlooks ONE detail and you follow their information....then wreck out - what're you gonna do?&nbsp\\; Wouldn't it make more sense to have a manual, and then ask for clarification on stuff you're not sure of?

Not to bust your chops, but you need to get the service manual for your bike.&nbsp\\; Well worth the money!

You need Digital Tech

If you do one line at a time, you don't need the Digital Tech. The Digital Tech is used to verify that the lines are in the proper place and not swapped out ( left/right ).
Get the manual anyway!!!

Thanks Al - that's what I hoped as I can't see how the sensors would know you had bled the brakes with the ignition off. I will get a manual though.

thanks everybody
