Not to Worry....... As long as there is a MARKET for a particular product there WILL be a supplier. It might be a little more expensive and You might have to reach under the counter to get it ,but it will be available...... bye bye day time, Hello night time..........hdman
Have to agree with hdman, not to mention the ole Grandfather clause............... You can still buy parts for 70's & 80's cars yet they don't meet todays emissions standards.
Hell, people still sell moonshine around here, man I love the South

You'll be surprised how fast they go away once the EPA ****'s get there foot in the door and start fining the crap out of everyone.
Try and buy aftermarket performance parts for you car in the peoples republic of California.
I was reading Motorcyclist Magazines peice about the new Kawasaki 650 Ninja bike, and how it meets not only the california standard, but the more stringent european emmissions requirements.
If Europe has tighter specs than Cali, and Cali is tighter than EPA, the how does HD manage to export 60,000 units to Europe every year?
the MOCO must have something already in place to deal with the euro spec emmissions on the air cooled V Twins. I know the Cali spec sportsters have a catalytic converter in the front pipe for 2006 to pass CARB requirements.
I sold an 05 Deluxe with the A/C, V&H BigShots and the download back in October, had it advertised on Hogs4Sale and the number of emails I got from people in the UK was amazing (Hundreds). Sold the bike to a guy from Santa Barbara, he flew to NC rented a UHAUL and trucked it back. How he registered the bike is beyond me, but for a man to drop 20K on a bike, I would think he did his homework on weather or not it would be street legal in Cal..... Must be some loop holes, me thinks.
Screw California. We should all do a run to Nevada, and all crank our bikes at once, and rack the throttle. Maybe California would tumble into the sea. Now that would be a cool movie. And just think. The ensuing Tsunami might destroy Japan. Total happiness.
If you don't mind. Who were you talking with? Obviously someone you have confidence in. They are really wanting to make our lives a little more difficult. They already outsize us many times over, take us out on the road whenever they get a chance. Now they want our bikes to run like $hit. We need the president to get on a Harley. Never mind, I saw what happened when our governator got on a Harley. lol
My bike is bone stock and it runs great, although, underpowered. I can't see a sert or power commander making that much difference. A dog is always going to be a dog.
