I had a conversation the other day about the EPA and our bikes. He told me that the SERT is going to go the same way as the Screaming Eagle pipes soon. Every one is installing them and the EPA is freaking out about it.
Did you guys see what the EPA has done the surfing world? They basically outlawed the factory that made all the foam for the boards. All the surfing shops are freaking out because they can't get board blanks anywhere. It looks like the same thing is headed our way. I bought a SERT this week because I was afraid they'd be discontinued at some point in the future. Hope it doesn't happen, but you never know.
If you don't mind. Who were you talking with? Obviously someone you have confidence in. They are really wanting to make our lives a little more difficult. They already outsize us many times over, take us out on the road whenever they get a chance. Now they want our bikes to run like $hit. We need the president to get on a Harley. Never mind, I saw what happened when our governator got on a Harley. lol
Harley just wants to sell bikes and chrome. They want to get out of doing any type of engine modifications and avoid EPA fines that would amount to millions of dollars.
Not to Worry....... As long as there is a MARKET for a particular product there WILL be a supplier. It might be a little more expensive and You might have to reach under the counter to get it ,but it will be available...... bye bye day time, Hello night time..........hdman
