I would like to know if anyone has an opinion of what the dealership could have done or failed to do that would cause a wobble so severe that it could cause you to go down. Anyone have any ideas?

Glad to hear you are OK. Hindsight is always 20/20. Whenever one notices a difference and I mean the LEAST little difference. Turn around and take it back. People think I am crazy because I HATE to wear gloves when I ride. I want to feel everything about the bike. I have my 5K due within the next month. I can tell you that I will give it a major shakedown after hearing your story.

The bike had wheels trued and a lot of extras checked. The bike DID NOT show symptoms out of the gate. I was on my way home from work a couple days prior and felt a slight wobble and chalked it up to wind (it was very windy that day).

That was my big mistake. I wasn't speeding, and certainly don't discount that I may very well have been at fault @ 0515 in the morning...lol.

I am just frustrated that the accident happened and would like to know what went wrong. If I messed up, I would like to know what actions to avoid in the future. If HD messed up, I would like to bring it to peoples attention to avoid this type of accident happening to someone else.

I am a proud person and not above admitting fault when I am wrong and certainly don't want handouts from anyone. I am very touched (more than you all may know) by all your comments and just want to get to the bottom of things. I wish to god I could remember what happened.
