Just pickup up an 08 Ultra. Fly by wire is making me nuts. Anybody have any updates as to what HD is doing about this? I can't seem to get any answers from the Dealer

RPMS Keep Rising up 1k to1300 on it's own. Dealer told me how to rest it but I've heard riders lose it when it decided to go FULL THROTTLE on Them

Sorry Donny, Second Post was in Error. the problem is that the RPMS Roll up between 1k and 1300 on their own. The dealer told me that HD is aware of the problem and is working on a solution that could be downloaded when completed. Just wondering is anyone in this forum has any information concering this.

I going to have to call BS!&nbsp\\; If your idle is surging 300&nbsp\\;RPM when its&nbsp\\;hot um nobody else has it but you.&nbsp\\; If the dealer was worth a salt, they would also know it.&nbsp\\; Go down there and start another new bike at&nbsp\\;the dealer&nbsp\\;with FBW.&nbsp\\; Umm you will not see it!&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; As for WOT all by itself who are you kidding?&nbsp\\; Its not happening my friend a great big Phucking fairy tale it is

Your idle surges 300 RPM back and forth, that is a specific problem with YOUR bike and there is no pattern of that reported.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; A constant&nbsp\\;fast idle is&nbsp\\;a known problem with a few reported here, and there is a reset drill for that.&nbsp\\; When that is&nbsp\\;done, life goes on
&nbsp\\;
Is this what your really talking about? Your bike should idle 1K +-100RPM

Somewhere on here others have complained about fast idle with the FBW, mine has been working fine.
