I was just in at the local dealer yesterday looking at an 08 Road Glide priced at 21000. \\;\\\\\\; He looked at my trade
which is an 02 RKC with alot of extras and a custom paint set, \\;\\\\\\; The appraiser said my bike is worth about
$10500 but he'd give me $14,500 towards the RG, \\;\\\\\\; What do you guys think? \\;\\\\\\; I think its a good deal but i do
think that the RG is a little overpriced for a black one.
RE: New Road Glide Maybe? Dealer offered good trade
Sounds like a good trade to me. $6500 diffrence to trade up 6 years with bigger motor and 6 speed tranny. Let alone the radio and tach. Dont forget the fairing. But do you really want a Road Glide? They are ugly and people will laugh at you. Take a look at mine.
RE: New Road Glide Maybe? Dealer offered good trade
i really would like to do this but the ol lady say no for now. i tried to explain everything to her but i think her mind is made up. hell shes even bitchin at me right now about it! LOL! i know what you mean about taking the sticker price off of it and then my trade goes down. same crap they do at car lots. anyways. my dreams of havin a road flide are just dust in the wind right now. until a deal comes up that i just cant pass comes along. or i find a good buyer for my scoot and a road glide thats priced really good
