Default LA Choppers

Has anyone used the rear lowering kit being sold by LA Choppers ?
It is being advertised as fitting a RKC.
&nbsp\\;
Thanks,
Jake

I had bought one for my Road King. Once I got it I thought it looked pretty cheap. Didn't want to put that on my bike. Sent it back and bought the HD low profile shocks instead and love them. Just my .02 .

Mrr4312, is there a big difference in hieght/ ride with the HD&nbsp\\;low profile shocks compared to the HD stock. I installed the lower brackets kit (i think that what it is call it) 8 yrs ago. I was looking for a change.

Q Hog, There is about 1 inch difference in height. The stock shocks are about 13 inch long, the low profile ones are 12 inch. The low profile shocks are what come stock on the Street Glides.

jakehdccw,&nbsp\\;I really didn't notice&nbsp\\;much difference in ride, maybe just a touch stiffer, but nothing that bothers me. Some people say to go with Progressive shocks as they have a much better ride, but I am perfectly happy with the HD shocks.

i bought the la choppers kit had to modifiy it the even fit. then after i made i work whent for a ride and noticed that it was bottoming hard, stoped and looked what was going on and the bracket was interfering with the shock movement&nbsp\\;limiting the travel by about one inch, i sent it back, J&amp\\;P said they had many of them come back.

I had a 97 RK that came with lowering blocks.&nbsp\\; The bike used to bottom out due to the angle change the brackets cause for the shock travel.&nbsp\\; I went with the Progressive 440's on the RK and on my 07 EGC I did the HD lowprofile shocks and front end lowering kit.&nbsp\\; Love both setups.&nbsp\\; Would not recommend the lowering blocks.

I bought these and I find they are just as good, but look better, as the stock shocks. I lowered the front too.
