Default Wreck Repairs

Some bonehead exiting a parking lot shot across three lanes of east bound traffic to go west and I tagged his left tire and truck bed (he almost made it across).&nbsp\\; The front fender is ruined, left running light and blinker torn off, left side of the engine guard bent back to the floorboard, and a nice sized ding on the back of the right&nbsp\\;fork (from right side of engine guard moving forward) - plus anything else that may be bent.&nbsp\\; I imagine the item that will take the longest to get would be the painted front fender.&nbsp\\; Can anyone give me an idea on how long they had to wait for&nbsp\\;painted parts from Harley?&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;Thanks....Scott&nbsp\\;

....HD seems to be getting a lot better in the "Painted parts" turnaround time than, say, a year ago...I recently(last month), got some painted parts in about 3 weeks from Precision HD in RI....good luck, and don't forget to keep an eye out in the "Classified" forum for parts you might need....

If yours is a 08 about 3 weeks or less.Thats what it took for mine (rear fender and saddelbags) because they are still in production.If its another year they rotate when they paint those colors so it depends on the rotation.

As was stated, it depends on their paint schedule.&nbsp\\; They will paint yours when they have the next batch of that color going through production.&nbsp\\; Sometimes you get lucky and it's quick, sometimes not.
