Could have water in the gas. \\; Rubbing alcohol (isopropyl) will dissipate the water. \\; Run it dry with a litlle gas on board to get ya to a station \\;and NEVER buy gas from the same place again.
i had a fuel \\;problem and the dealer said (maybe its bad gas) i didnt believe them i get gas at the same place twice a week it turned out to be the quick disconnect on the bottom of the fuel tank it wasnt seated properly they replaced it and the problem went away. two weeks later the sending unit went and the fuel gauge was reading 3/4 of a tank when it was empty. they said it was fixed after two days in the shop i got the bike back and a week later the fuel tank started leaking fuel from under the dash panel ( the dealer had it apart 6 times to fix sending unit and never replaced the gasket around the filler neck)........but they billed harley for warranty work and paperwork says they replaced gasket and they never replaced it. \\; \\; check your fuel lines first then check your fuel. \\; \\; its a \\;2007 fltr road glide
Same thing happened about a month ago. Stopped at an off brand station and filled up, bike ran terrible. Rode it awhile, that day, and filled up at Sunoco. I think either the gas station is getting screwed bt the distributor or the station is knowingly selling a lower octane. I usually get Sonoco 93 when possible.
Try one of the gas additives, if that don't clean it out with fresh gas, something else is going on. \\;
