Default Clockwork Headers?

I have a friend who is ready to put some pipes on his 08 Road Glide. The shop he called suggested Clockwork headers with Thunderheader slip ons. They said that way the fuel doesn't have to&nbsp\\;be remapped, and it doesn't run too lean.&nbsp\\;I've heard Thunderheader slip ons, but I haven't heard of Clockwork headers. Has anybody heard of these headers anywhere?

front pipe exite the right of the bike and vice versa.......they are pretty cool and easy to install.......BUT........ITS A PITA to change tranny and primary fluids as the pipes are in the way and have to be loosened to perform the fluid changes......

I paired mine up with some Bassani flipped scallop cuts and couldn't be happier. Lot of black tip Reinharts running around.&nbsp\\; I highly recommend them. Just be prepared for lots of cool compliments though.

I have them (love them) and don't have any of these clearance issues.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; In fact the pipes are not even close on mine.&nbsp\\; I do use a long funnel though...

How loud are the pipes? Annoying loud or comfortable loud.

Asian, they're louder than Reinharts and not as loud as Thunderheaders. I removed the packing off my baffles to get what I was looking for. Just plain evil when you get down on it[sm=badbadbad.gif]

I just came back from a shop where I live at here in Suisun City, CA. I heard the Klock Werks headers, with the Thunderheaders exhaust on a 08 Road King and they sound mean. Loud and deep. That is the kind of sound that my buddy was looking for. Thanks for you reply WORKD4IT. If you are looking for a nice sound for your bike, add the headers to it. You can't go wrong.
