Default 2012 SG, which slip ons?

Thinking about Rush slip ons for my 2012 Street Glide.
Which ones?
Any other suggestions?
True duals?
Thanks!

Many suggestions- just you wait.

I use supertrapp supermegs and the made for screaming eagle ( by supertrapp) nightstick and fatshots.

all these pipes use a disk tuning system and can be as loud or as quiet as you want- while retaining higher flow rates than most pipes.

Supertrapps always rate near the top for power the past 30 years.

other pipes- do what they do...and if you find your neighbors throwing rocks at you ( or if you want to hear your stereo), the only solution is to plunk down another 4 or 600 for another set of pipes, that may or may not solve it.
Loud pipes get pretty boring 90 minutes into an 8 hour riding day.

if many cases the header pipe is changed ( or the cat removed from the stock header), as the cat is a restriction to sound and to flow ( performance).

When you have some time, go up to the search function and type in "slip-ons". You'll spend the next few days reading posts.

Then go to your local bike night and look and listen to the bikes.

This will take a while, but will be a fun process.

The other way is to just go out and buy some 4" Rineharts because I said it's the right thing to do.

As far as true duals, you can search for those. But you really need to understand what you want your bike to do. Duals sound cool, but a good 2-1 or 2-1-2 system will make more power. The best looking dual system are the Rinehart extreme duals, but the 2-1-2 systems make more power and still give the duals out the back look.

FWIW, my 2010 Ultra has a Fuel Moto 2-1-2 head pipe and 4" Rineharts and it's F'n awesome all the way around. It makes great power and sounds great.

Good luck.

I am running the 3.5 Rineharts. Stock headpipe for now, just running slipons.

Vance & Hines Monster Ovals.... I have had several others and none have performed as well as these. Nice sound when you get on it but quiet enough to comfortably here the radio at cruising speeds.

Equandt has it right. Except maybe the Rineharts.

Get rid of the cat in the header.
Do AC and tuner at same time.
Searches will give you WEEKS of reading on the subject.
Decide if you want loud, quiet, and how important performance is.
Duels sound best but you suffer performance.
You tube can help with tone but not loudness. Bike night is the way to go with that.
I was kidding about Rineharts. I like them but I don't know anything about the new 4". Mine are very similar to Rineharts and at the time they were both made by same company. I like'em loud and I took baffles out to make it louder. I don't think my neighbors like me and pretty sure nobody likes me in the parking garage at work.
