Anybody do anything to cover the marks on the windshield made from the fairing bag rubbing on the shield? \\; \\;I made a piece of canvas to fit inbetween the bag and window but this collects dirt and such. Scrap that idea. \\;I was thinking of removing the shield and masking the bottom section ,drawing flames or some design and cutting it out with an exacto and peeling off the design, then blasting the shield with glass bead to etch the design into it or airbrush the design to mask the bags from the front.....havent made up my mind yet. Do know that the white marks from the bags rubbing on the shield are bad....Any ideas?

Based on some threads here on the forum, I put some small velcro squares on the back corners of the windshiels bags and stuck them to the windshield. \\; No scratching and no vibrations and you can't tell unless your looking for it.
My bag came with a piece of clear static cling plastic film. \\; It goes on the windshild where the bag would touch. \\; It sort of looks like crap but prevents the bag from scratching the windshield.

I had to fish mine out of the trash can after I figured out what its purpose in life was.
 \\;
I like the idea of putting some felt stick on pads between the corners of the bag and windshield. \\; The next time the shield is off I will try this.
well the stealership installed it when they were putting in the gps and sat radio so no clear film and the window has already scratched and formed white spots so it is on to the disguise phase......
