I have a T bag winshield bag like pic shown.
I want to go with a klockswerks recurve or maybe the new harley shield,
I know the 4inch will not work but will this shield work if its say 6 In???
anybody know???
I've got the Klockwerks 6 1/2", and the answer is NO! But they (Klockwerks) are saying that their new 8 1/2" will allow for the windshield bag you're talking about. Hope this helps. Oh, the bag will work with the 6" Harley windshield, as I have that too. But it doesn't provide anywhere near the protection and clean air that the KW shield does. FWIW.
Ok, I am looking at that same "T" bag. I have a stock SG windshield now. And will upgrade to a bit taller one I am sure,, say 6" Your saying that bag set won't work on 6"? Also, advice on best height for my bike? I am 5'9" not especially short, not tall.
So, if I want to use a set of bags like that. What windshield would be best for me?
Jim, I have got the Clarks halfmoon 8 inch and have the T-Bag ordered and should be here Friday. I am 5'9" as well and will let you know.
Looks like a KC-10 Boom in the picture you got, flew that boom for about 2.5 years out of Barksdale before they moved up North. Nice Airplane!!
I don't know what that Spirit was being fueled by. I have ridden in a KC 135 and took a few pictures watching our Eagles get fueled when we still had FIGHTERS,,,. Pretty cool job I bet doing that.
Have I mentioned lately that DONALD RUMSFELD sucks big time?
I have the stock SG windscreen and the T-bag works fine with it. I also have the 6" dark tinted recurve Long Ride shield and it works fine with it. This is with the stock windscreen.
Ok, I understand, thanks. For those who have the 6 or 8" "Stock" shield. What do you think of them? Do they work well? Or is the KW one a better option?
