I'm not a big fan of anything Rossmeyer touches. Obviously, here in Florida, \\;we all will \\;eventually have to deal with them one way or another. They are famous for not doing things as promised, having high prices \\;and sticking to their guns when it comes to handling problems.
I do everything I can to stay out of his dealerships. I will, however, say one thing. During Bike Week in Daytona, I had a warranty problem and his service guy totally took care of me. Maybe it has to do with the quality of people he hires- some good, some not so good. Problem is you never know what you're going to end up with.  \\;

This forum and a little bit of homework can buy a lot of bike for 17K. When \\;I was looking for a newer touring bike last year, my buddy said just take your time and keep looking on Ebay and Craigslist. You will find the bike you want at the price you want to pay.

listen guys we all had bad deals with our local harley dealer at one time or another, and the truth of the matter is that you need to protect yourself when buying a bike, these salesman are not your friends, they are not going to call you up on sunday to go for a ride, the dealers/salesman is going to do what is good for them, if you dont buy that bike somone else will, we as consumers can only do a little homework, my wife purchased my 07 RK for my 33rd Bday, I had no say in the matter it was a surprize, they saw her coming from a mile away, sold her every warranty, alarm system, tire insurance, etc...But I still deal with the same dealer because it is right by my house and still has a 4 year warranty on it, they know better than to try and screw me.....we know better, its good to hear these warnings from the guys/gals on this site we should use it to our advantge. \\; \\; ride safe and stay out of Jersey......you`ll live longer!!!!!
Of course it's buyer beware, but what goes around, comes around. \\; That Stealer, like so many others are going to feel the crunch in this ecomony. \\; Informed, educated buyers with a sense of decency will drive them down, and out of business. \\; But remember, there's a ton of folks out there, with a ton of disposable income to drop with an impulse buy. \\; And that's how those scumb bags survive. \\; Be aware, and make others aware. \\; That's one of the beauties of this forum. \\; JMHO. \\; CCRyder
Dont get me started on the piece of SH*T dealership. My blood preasure is already climbing as I type this! Those guys just flat out LIE!!!!! There is no other way to discribe it. I did get a decent deal but I worked my *** off and walked out of that place in Boston 2 times because of their lies. I cant do this any more,, I need a beer to calm down.. \\; I'm still just PISSED!
