I may be in the minority, but I think the stock bars are perfect as is!! \\; However, I have come from 20 years riding sport bikes, so I find the stock position perfectly neutral. \\; In other words I am perfectly balanced between weight on my butt and weight on my feet...which relieves pressure points and I feel I can literally ride all day. \\; As a result I don't need highway pegs because I couldn't use them effectively anyway as I am not leaning back enough. \\; Do I care? \\; Not yet, I have done two 800 miles days on my 08 RKC very comfortably.

\\;\\\\\\; I looked at handlebars at my dealer. I am thinking of switching to
reduced reach RK bars #56152-04 A They move the controls back 2 3/4"
Has anyone changed to these? Did you have to buy new cables and wires?
Did they move the controls back enough?
\\;\\\\\\; Dealer was really busy the day I was there. The girl in parts tried to
help, but did not know a lot. Is there a site I can go to, that shows all
If these are the $49.95 ones, I just put them on my '05 RK and love them. The dimensions sound right. No need to extend any cables or wires, but I did reroute and retie some wires in the headlight to give a little more slack out at the bars. I'm 6'2" and was constantly leaning forward to hold the bars. These put me in a perfectly comfortable position.
