OK so my recovery is coming along rather well and I am looking for a new ride.
I am very interested in the Street Glide and if I buy I will get ABS on the scoot. Thats just a no brainer and forces the discussion to 2008 bikes as they have the 6 gallon tank and a different seat style.
My questions are as follows:
Has anyone put the solo Corbin seat and back rest on the bike?
How comfortable is the combination on this ride? Did the Corbin seat push you into the tank and reduce leg room or did you find the ride a bit roomier?
How is the heat coming of the 96ci motor with this saddle? Did you have to put the mid frame heat deflectors on the bike to keep the jewels from roasting?
Please post your answers and any information as I am very close to going this way with the bike.
You might want to see what gives with the new 09's. You might be able to get a deal on a 08, but some glitches with them should be fixed in the 09's, and the ABS is a good move! Hang in there...
