The stereo on my Ultra is the first experience I havewith MP3 cds. I have burnt many a CD but just not in MP3. I was wondering what to do to make the file names look correct when the disc is playing. Any hints from guys who do it?

Thanks, Chris
Burn them as data discs if you want 100+ on a single CD. \\; I've had OK luck with getting the titles to display but some just won't. \\; I think it depends on \\;the way they were converted to MP3's in the first place.

I made one today and it works fine, the artist name is displayed all the time and below it the song title at the beginning of each song, then it goes away. The only issue I have is with the order, it plays the disc in alphabetical order. I guess thats no big deal, but I wonder if there is a way to correct that?
The disc will play back in the same order it was recorded in. Most software burner programs default to alphabetical and/or numerical order. If you want the disc to play in a specific order every time, place a 3 digit number before the title of each track before you burn (001, 002, etc.). Of course what I do is simply press the RANDOM soft key on the radio and I get a different order every time the disc plays.
In your MP3 folder on your computer, right click the MP3 file and then click properties. \\; Click the Summary tab. \\; This gets you access to all the song info like artist, song title, album title, genre, etc. \\; Just click on each line that you want to correct. \\; After you have done this for all of the MP3s you want to burn, and then burn the CD, all the information you're looking for should be displayed correctly.
I use Apples Itune software to burn my MP3 CD's for my Ultra. With Itunes you can burn them in any order you wish and they will play like that. I create play lists when I do it.
I use MediaMonkey to get the tags staright for all of the track info - it actually has the ability to download the info from Amazon for album info and artwork, etc.
I don't get it. I don't have any problem recognizing which tune is playing on my MP3 disc. After all, I programmed it. There is a random play mode on the unit accesed by pushing the buttons on the face plate - info \\;covered in the owners manual.
