speedo prob.

today my speedo would be on my actual mph or on zero then bounce around crazy. after a while it would sit on zero then jump all around. we checked as mant connections as we could and found no bad ones and the fuse was good. any ideas?

i do now think that is what the problem is. i needto know. do i unscrew it because it has a bolt style head with wires on it or does it pop out like the oil filler stick. i dont want to mess it up any more. i want to take it out and clean it and if that doesnt work i will replace it.

take the bolt off and pry it with a flat screw driver to get it off its hole.Check your trany fluid if its not white.water gets in there by the breather and brakes those sensors.
