My brother in law has \\;an Ultra with enhanced sound package. Does anyone know of a kit that will allow him to move the tour pak back? With the enhanced system, \\;he has an amplifier under his tour pak. The kits from Kuryakyn don't allow this to happen, I think because the wiring from the amp isn't long enough, but that's just my guess, I haven't checked into exactly WHYKuryakyn says it won't work. I know some one on this board has overcome this problem, so I'm checking here first.
Thanks guys !!!

He makes a tour-pak relocation kit that is allot better then anything else out there, and a lot easier to install. It is a black steel plate that goes between the stock mounting "u-tube" and the tourpak. It bolts to the tourpak, and then has 2 sets of bolt holes that goes to the "u-tube". That allows you to choose between 1 1/4" or 2 1/2" movement back from stock. The edges are polished, and it comes with all bolts needed and instructions. It allows you to use the stock position (remove George's kit, 10 bolts out, 5 bolts in), or swich between 1.25" back and 2.5" back by removing 5 bolts and putting them back in at the new location. This can be useful if you ever expect to ride with different passengers. This can also be used with the detachable tour pak kit from HD
i have a chopped tour pack (currently at the painters) and i have designed an amp rack and 6x9 setup in it. I am pretty sure you can move it (anything is possible), but do you have a picture of what you are talking about... then maybe i can further advise...
Just put the tour pak on my Road King and the wife wants it back further. \\; I'm back as far as it goes stock. \\; I'm going to contact George as well. \\; Thanks for the info.
