For those who have used this, does it work and would you recommend it? \\; Once I get the scratches out of my lid covers, looking for a good way to prevent damage from happening again.
I got mine installed locally from a place that does cars and bikes, $250.00 installed. Here is what they covered:
Fairing
headlight
Driving lights
Front fender back to the forks
front facing of lowers
sides of gas tank from seat to emblem
top, side and back of saddle bags
each side on top of tour pak, so if tour pak bag touched
I have a set of the pro finish lid covers. They work great. easy install. Had them on about six months. Cost 50$. Got enought extra material to put a piece on the tour pak lid so the passenger back rest doesnt rub and a couple small pieces on the tank where the seat rubs. Worth every penny in my book.
I'm very interested on the Bat wing coverage. \\; How does that turn out? \\; I hear it comes in sections. \\; Mine is off being repainted, and I'd like to put it on before any chips.
I just installed one of the ProFinish kits this weekend on my vivid black Street Glide. It came out really well and was easy to install. I ordered it on Tuesday and got in on Friday. He even threw in a few extra pieces for my tour pack. It took me about an hour to install the fairing (3-piece) and surprisingly was not very hard at all. There are video install links on his website as well as detailed install instructions. I'd say +1 on the product!
