I just bought an 08 Roadglide, and found the stock seat to be a bit unkind to the nether region. I've got a tallboy seat on loan from the local dealer, but I'm not sold on it either. Its better than stock, but not real cushy. I'm looking for something I can be on for several hours, and I know a lot of guys recommend the Sundowner. The question is, does anyone over 6' tall recommend a Sundowner?
I'm a little over 6 feet w/ Sundowner. \\; I don't really know how height matters for its suitability...I didn't really notice it being much different than stock, perhaps dished slightly lower. \\; Anyway, I have done a couple of 800 mile, 14 hour days and found it very comfortable. \\; Of course, I didn't really have a problem with the comfort of the stock seat either, but the wife needed a wider passenger seat than the RKC stock seat.

Hi all
I just bought an 08 Roadglide, and found the stock seat to be a bit unkind to the nether region.
I have a 08 Roadglide and I have a sundowner seat.I really like it. Took a 2200 mile trip in early June felt good all the way.I \\;had  \\;an electra glide classic and a goldwing like the sundowner the best.I am 6-3.
Just got back from a short 150 run riding two up on the stock Fatboy seat. Had been considering changing seats but wife up'd the priority. We stopped for food, called local HD dealers until we found one with a Sundowner that fit and bought it the same day. \\; I am 6' and immediately noticed a difference in posture and comfort over the stock seat. Wife is also much happier as well. \\; Our July trip to KY will be much easier.
I'm 6' 1" 200lbs and have the sundowner on my rk custom. I can ride all day with no pain. I considered the tall boy myself but i'm glad I went this route.
I'm 6'3" and love the Sundowner. \\; It seems to move me a bit forward from the stock seat but it's still worth it. \\; My girlfriend loves it as well. \\; 1,600 miles last week and not one complaint.
