What year is your bike, and how long have you had it?&nbsp\\; Four stators is indication that something is WRONG.&nbsp\\; Look for a faulty ground shorting out the system.&nbsp\\; Have you had it on the rack and traced the wiring to make sure nothing has rubbed clean and is grounding you out.&nbsp\\; I hate electrical problems, good luck.&nbsp\\; I've put 1 new stator on regulator on my Road King at 55,000 miles.&nbsp\\; I've got 63,000 now, with no problem.&nbsp\\; I know that doesn't make you feel any better, I only mention it to let you know you should be getting a hell of a lot of life out of a new stator, if properly installed.&nbsp\\; Once again, good luck finding the problem.&nbsp\\; CCRyder

Chronic stator failures are usually the result of excessive heat caused by too much resistance in a circuit. Check all your wiring harness connectors for problems or corrosion. A&nbsp\\;faulty&nbsp\\;regulator may also cause stator failure.

Bike is a 2001 FLHTCI with 54k miles. Each stator has lasted almost a year. They are made by Excel and have a life time warranty. The bike has remained stock.

As others have said - you have a problem in yer system.&nbsp\\; Time to git the manual out an' start tracin' circuits - most likely ya have a corroded/loose connection.
