I have a 08 street glide and would like to know where on the bike I can find the manufactured date. On my other bikes there was a tag, I can't find one on this bike. It was said on the forum that the bike shut off problems were limited to the bikes made in 2007.
What "shut off problems"..? If your talking about the idle issue, there is a remedy for that......and if you were having problems with a high or fluctuating idle, you would know it.
In any case.....IIRC you can get the build MONTH using the VIN......or like you said there is a info sticker, but I aint too sure if its on the neck or down tube. I dont want to go down to the shop right now to check mine, but I know there is one on there. As a side note......my bike was built in 09/07, but as of yet I have had no problems with the idle.
Thanks Guys,
\\; I was talking about the fuel pump issues posted on here. Saying that the bike will just crap out on you. They said that the bad part was on bikes made in 07 the 08 bikes were to have this fixed.

I've been watching those threads since my bike is a 11/07, to me, there is no pattern to date of manufacture. Guys have had the problem after 01/08 and some have not prior.... I believe the part is just poorly designed and it fails along the flaw lines.
