Another question
I have rinehart true duals. The pipe on the left burns my leg when I am stopped and with my feet down. It took me awhile to figure what was going on as I didn't have this problem with the factory exhaust. The left pipe on the rinehart true duals has a larger radius than the stock pipes. That is, they seem to be farther away from the side cover and actually turn toward the front of the bike. Let me tell you, it really gets hot. I burnt the **** out of my leg a few times. Anyone else have this problem? I'm really not whining, I would just like to be able to hold the bike up without having to worry about getting burnt every time. I'm thinking about putting the factory exhaust back on and I would hate that.
I'm curious as to how tall you are. \\; I'm 6', maybe add another inch with my boots on, and I haven't gotten burnedyet. \\; I've had the Rinehart Tru Duals on since January, ridden about 3500 miles and so far so good. \\; \\;Maybe try a boot with a little thicker sole and heel. \\; Please don't misunderstand the way this may sound. \\; I'm not trying to bust your nuts. \\; I know that some folks on here can take things the wrong way. \\; I too would hate to put my original exhaust back on. \\; Good luck.
