Been there done that. Was on my way out to work at 10pm. Yup even woke my wife up to help me right the bike.

S*$T happens, and yup i,m sure it will happen again in the future....Did to me.

I just did that with my wife a few weeks back. Nothin' like wakin the lil' lady to help you pick your bike up! She was real gem about it! mumble,mumble, bitch, bitch....Gotta love her!
Yup done it too, and Iâve decided that they are not to be called âcrash barâ any longer. The new name for those metal tube thingys is âbottom inspection standsâ so you can see the underside/darkside!
I know exactally how you feel. \\; I did it with the OL on back, turning out of a parking place in a really steep parking lot. \\; She had been wondering what a cluster f*** it would be if the bike ever fell over-until we did it- then no big deal. \\; SHe was glad to get it off her mind- no injuries, we just naturally stepped off and then just picked it up. \\;
 \\;
THe bad thing was, I tried 110% to hold it up and am now in PT for a tear on my inside elbow. \\; Next time I'll let it go down.
My driveway has a pretty good drop off to the street. I had only had the bike about 2 weeks. Coming in to the driveway 2-up. Trying to make it really smooth. Front wheel up on the driveway, slowed to a stop. Of course where I stopped had my foot at the highest possible point! Went to put foot down, and by the time it was on the ground the bike was past the point of no return. Rolled right on over onto its side. At the same time this is happening my neighbor across the street is just pulling out of his driveway! Felt like a complete dumbass! Thanks to engind guards, not even a scratch on the Glide! Whew! At that time didn't know the proper way to pick it back up (pre Ride Like a Pro video). But I had the embarrassment adrenaline pumping big time! Picked it right back up like it was nothing!
I always think of this when I see an FLH with the engine guards removed. Looks really sweet but what does a simple slow (or no) speed drop end up costing you?
Did the same thing right in front of a cop last summer. \\; She didn't even get out of the car, just watched me stand it back up and go on my way...
one time or another most of us have had the bike dropped it happens for the smallest
 \\;
reasons one time i forgot to put the jiffy stand down i was in my garage so no one saw me
 \\;
broke the right mirror i have not done that again-safe ridng
It happens eventually. \\;
 \\;
I was commenting to an aquaintance a couple of weeks ago, that I had not YET dropped my bike. \\; \\; Well, karma bit me....have dropped it TWICE since then. \\; Yesterday, while rolling it back in the driveway, I stepped off of the edge of the concrete.....over it went. \\; Put a pretty good scratch on the very bottom edge of the lower...........not visible unless you get down on the ground and look up, but pisses me off just the same.
