My HQ 120 "looks" stock, except for the compression releases.
Someone mentioned low - mid range torque... If you have a look at their site, you will see that this is exactly what they design for. Torque is what you "feel" and what gets the bike moving. HP is what folks are used to "hearing" (x horsepower) about, but torque is what really makes the difference on these heavy v-twins....
I have the stage II set up in my bike and have no issues. No granted I bought the bike used and it already had it. The power level is just fine and I get great gas mileage. I might however change the cams to gear driven this winter.

If you are going to swap pistons and juggs, get headwork done too. Headwork makes a BIG difference! I have and can recommend the 96.5â kit from Automotive Machine Shop in Texas. The kit comes with their reworked heads, Andrews 26g cams (or whatever you want), 96.5â juggs and KB pistons and Cometic gaskets. My build looks stock, but is torquey, pulls long and hard, and is dependable. Iâm sure there are other builds out there and folks will chime in on them but think about going with gear cams to avoid the whole tensioner issue. Whatever you decide, go with ONE builder. Donât piece meal it, meaning cams from one place, juggs from another, and pistons from elsewhere.

The heads are BIG, you will not be to happy with a straight 95" build with no head work. I did a 95" on my 03 Ultra with 204's and SE heads with a little work, and pulled 96hp and 101tq on the dyno with a SERT.

I had a SE 95 inch build with 203s. I had some mild head porting, replaced the 203 with a 204s, had the cylinder walls bored and replaced the pistons and rings \\;and what a difference. Low end torque and off the line power. It ran good, but now I can run with all my buds except the few hot rods. I was looking for the bike to pull two up and loaded like it did solo. I am glad I didn't listen to the naysayers too and went with the setup. I also have a Thundermax AT and a Rinehart 2 into 1.

my 2 cents worth. look atht erevelution performance site. 98" jugs with nitrile \\; \\;liners. flat top top pistons for stump pulling torque. use big boyz for reworking your stock heads . try andrews cams with the gear drive . all told about 1800 plus labor if you dont do the work . with proper tuning and injectors you can expect 95 to 98 horse annd close to 110 ft lbs of torque!
