Default security system install question FLHRS

Hey guys,
&nbsp\\;
Can someone help me out? I just got the HD security system for my '06 FLHRS, which did not require an "installation kit" with the system.
Directions are simply plug and play basically, however #3 states, "perform the tests described under TSM/TSSM vehicle delivery in the Electrical Diagnostic manual.
&nbsp\\;
I have the service manual, but I never purchased an "Electrical Diagnostic" manual, which this install says you have to have.
&nbsp\\;
Can anyone enlighten me about these "tests", or do I really need to plunk down somemore $$$ to get the Electrical Diagnostic manual?
&nbsp\\;
thanks very much for any&nbsp\\;help,
&nbsp\\;

Hey there..
&nbsp\\;
Just did the same thing on my 06 Ultra. Don't need to buy anything. You can find anything you need with a little work on the internet. The system should have come with the setup for the key fob. What happened to me, just as an fyi, was that after I set up the key fob and the alarm seemed to be working right. I went inside. Later in the day I went out to run some errands and the bike would start and stall. Couldn't figure out what it was. I did some research, and you need to get the bike computer right with the new system. It can be done manually, without spending the money at the dealer. It takes about a half an hour, almost all of it is just sitting around waiting. http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...yingnewTSM.jpg&nbsp\\; Hope this helps.

It needs to be married to the ECM. I took mine to the dealer for 35 dollars and he did it with the digital technician in about 10 minutes....I did this after spending 2 hrs. trying the manual way and drained the battery.
