wash it how you want to wash it. i dont hose it down because that causes a lot of water drop clean up. i use a rag and a glass cleaner from work and wax.

Mine wasn't dirty, just a bit of dust and I did this the other day and it worked great. \\; You just have to be REALLY careful and use plenty of glass cleaner (ammonia free) to get the area you're cleaning nice and wet.

After I did this, I took the bike on a nice long drive with the wife and decided to head across a 15 mile stretch of dirt road to get to a scenic drive, so the cleaning was a bit of a waste of time, and now I'll have to do a good wash\\; not the windex wipe. \\; Oh well, it needs it!!!
