Best of both worlds, But is it safe?

Going with a 13" rear shock and 18" wheels kind of defeats the purpose of having a air suspension by my terms. The wheel and tire are a inch higher and the bike will most likely be lowered 1" when drving for comfort. So I am at the same height \\;I was before. Yes you can slam it while parked but while riding you would have no suspension.

thanks in advance-

Anyone know of where to get the 160/50/18????
If I were going to dump big money into a shock system, I'd probably take Bryan TTM's advice and just get some high quality traditional shocks. \\; Having said that, I will probably do for my roadglide, the same thing I did with my FLHT and fab my own 'dragginbaggers' type air suspension. \\; For less than $200.00 I'll have a ride I find perfectly adequate for my uses...better than stock ride and adjustable on the fly.
In my experience slamming your ride to look cool is a short lived pleasure. \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; Once you've shown your friends you can do it, you'll stop being a 'poser' and enjoy it for what it is truly great for...on the fly ride adjustment...which really isn't needed all that much once you find a good comfortable setting because you'll want to leave it alone instead of dumping it at stop and then having to find that sweet spot again.

Thanks for the Poser comment. I would not spend a $1000 on a air suspension just to slam it. All though this is what I am asking about. You are not the only one on the planet smart enough to know \\;about the \\;advantages of air ride. I have systems on 2 gooseneck setups. Ride control, gear and 2 up adjustments, airing up for better handling ect.
 \\;
 \\;I have \\;a \\;PSI guage \\;coming so I can find my \\;" sweet spot \\;" you might look into it............All ways some one like you on foums never fails.

Eddy D how sure are you of this tire combo? 150/70/18 I would go that route or the 16" At least with the 18 you can see more back wheel.

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
not sure if the 160 will fit between the fender. if it mounts on a rim bigger than 3.5 it will rub. 18 with stock 11" rotors make the bike look lower without affecting ride
Not sure what you mean by this but interested.
