I have come to the conclusion that every 25k miles when you are supposed to replace the fuel filter, you might as well replace the whole kit and kaboodle when you are in there anyway.&nbsp\\; Might as well check the hoses and replace also just for peace of mind.&nbsp\\; It's not that expensive.

No need to drain the tank, but it does make it easier if there is not a whole lot of fuel in there. I waited to put mine in until my fuel was low

My bikes build date is 02/08 and bike seems to be running great with over 4,000 miles on her. So im assuming my bike should have the updated&nbsp\\;canister. But&nbsp\\;im going to take it apart maybe this week&nbsp\\;and check to see if it actaully has the new canister and ill post back my results.

Well i decided to rip mine apart tonite and with a build date of 02/08 i certainly have the updated canister. That may have been obvious with the newer build date but it makes me feel a little better now

Shows active with no backorder fitment, so apparently it is clear.
